MBWEHA TENTED CAMP:
Mbweha Tented Camp, Lake Nakuru National Park, Kenya:
In this area you can find all the three species of jackal found in East Africa, the side–striped jackal, the silver backed jackal and the golden jackal. Staying at Mbweha Camp is an experience in itself. Tucked away on Delamere Estates’ 6,400-acre Congreve Game Conservancy, nestle up against the southern boundary of Lake Nakuru National Park with views of Eburu and Mau ranges. Mbweha Camp is hidden in a grove of Euphorbia trees with over 300 species of birds and is Home to majority of plains game such –eland, warthogs, Zebra, Leopard,

Grant’s gazelle, waterbuck, impala, hyena, dik dik, buffalo, giraffe, aardvark, baboon and flamingo. Additionally, Mbweha Camp’s beauty lies not only in wildlife but its natural sanctuary of many fauna, which you can experience on your walks, bicycle rides or game drives.

Mbweha Camp fills a space in the tourist market between the exclusive private safaris camp and the larger hotels accommodation for the lake Nakuru Areas.

Mbweha Camp Bandas:
Mbweha Camp has 9 luxury cottages. These cottages are made of local material; thatch roofs with natural lava rock walls and comprise a circular, roomy sleeping area with unsuited shower, and private veranda. Though the cottages are simply designed they are comfortable and tastefully furnished with 12 volt solar lighting and are all private and completely separate from the campsite area.

Access to Lake Nakuru park is only 15 minute drive from the camp through Nderit.
 

Bush Restaurant & Bar:
Mbweha Camp's sunken bar and specious lounge is open to all. It has an open fireplace, a pool Table, darts board and looks out at eye level over mown lawn area on to a small waterhole.

Mbweha Tented Camp bush restaurant serves a choice of tasty, freshly prepared meals as well as game meat at reasonable prices in separate thatched dining room.
